SKIP (Support for Kids | Information for Parents) is a government initiative driven to support parents through community initiatives, and the provision of information and resources. It pulls together a nationwide network of individuals, community groups, government agencies, workplaces and national NGOs. Its work is focused on building social connections, reducing isolation, creating supportive environments, and promoting positive parenting.
The website is full of well-organised information and resources to support positive parenting. SKIP also has funding available to support the development of community initiatives aligned to its purpose.
