Are you keen to be a part of the change?
CareerMum is excited to announce the date of its upcoming workshop: Co-designing a better tomorrow for career mums.
This workshop will focus on driving solutions to the career barriers faced by women after taking time out to start a family. It’ll build on the findings of the recent CareerMum survey, and feed into the development of a programme of work that seeks to improve the career landscape for mums.
This intimate workshop will be facilitated by Jade Tang-Taylor. Jade is a true force of the design community, with a passion for diversity, gender equality, and an incredible drive to make a difference. Her credentials speak volume, as co-founder of Social Enterprise Curative, Chapter Founder of CreativeMornings Auckland, the woman behind 100 Mums Project, and so much more. CareerMum is thrilled to have Jade on board, knowing the passion, energy and depth of experience she will bring, and her ability to encourage a flow of ideas and richness of thought.

What is co-design?
Co-design is a creative, interactive and visual way of generating ideas and solutions to challenges. No idea is a bad idea as we brainstorm new and better ways to support career mums.
Why is this workshop important?
CareerMum believes in the social, business and economic importance of better supporting women to resume and grow their career after having children. As an economy we are leaking and under-utilising talent, educated women are having fewer children, and our children are spending longer in childcare. CareerMum works proactively to support career mums and businesses to overturn these emerging trends.

And we’d love to get to know you over lunch – participants are invited to stick around for a group lunch from 12.30pm.
