Take Care is a new initiative, brought to you by Sarah McGuinness, offering real stories, conversations, resources and inspiration to guide and inspire your self-care journey.
Sarah McGuinness is a passionate mental fitness and wellbeing champion, and is determined to reduce stigma and improve conversations around mental health. Through her work in corporate and personal wellness, Sarah guides people of all ages to be a happier, healthier version of themselves so they can excel in all areas of their life.
Fertility New Zealand is committed to supporting, advocating for and educating all people who face infertility challenges at all stages of their journey and beyond.
It offers a network of regular support gatherings, workshops and contact groups throughout the country; an 0800 line and email address for enquiries, and infertility forums on its website where members can provide support to one another.
Fertility NZ also offers publications and information videos.
YouMums is a social enterprise developing a combination of online and in-person sessions to help you access expert advice or mum-to-mum inspiration to guide you along your journey as a Mother. These sessions are via intimate group webinars or workshops to help you gain access to advice in a more affordable and convenient way.
Founder Claire Thiveyrat is passionate about improving the maternal care landscape for women, and creating opportunities to ensure all women have access to support and advice. Real Health NZ founders, Renee and Jenna, are qualified fitness and wellness experts who offer online health and fitness solutions aimed at empowering women to be their best selves.
Real Health NZ offers:

- stand alone programmes – including a 5-module pregnancy/postpartum programme, running programmes and more
- corporate wellness packages – including interactive workshops, long term corporate wellness solutions, and inspirational talks on wellbeing.
As mums themselves, Renee and Jenna are well aware of the challenges of maintaining personal wellness during the early years of parenting.
It is a registered not-for-profit charity that is governed by a Board of Trustees who volunteer their time, and operates in the Canterbury region.

Led by a group of committed individuals, health professionals and parents, the Mothers Matter campaign puts a spotlight on the health and well-being benefits that come from receiving the right postnatal care and a woman’s entitlement to receive up to 48 hours, funded in-patient postnatal care, regardless of where she lives or what type of birth she has had.
KidsHealth is a joint initiative between the Paediatric Society of New Zealand and Starship Foundation, and is supported and funded by the Ministry of Health.
